Easily install the gate in doorways or hallways using the included no-drill pressure mount system with adhesive wall cups that help protect your walls from damage. Alternatively, you can use it at the top or bottom of stairs with the included hardware (required for safe stairway installation). Recommended tools for hardware installation (not included) are a drill, Phillips-head screwdriver, pencil, and measuring tape.

Please note that the gate may appear bent at first, but this is not a defect and will be corrected upon proper installation.

Designed for extra-tall and wide openings, the Summer Extra Tall & Wide Safety Dog and Baby Gate is an imported product. It fits openings between 29.5 and 53 inches and stands 38 inches tall, including the arch. Be sure to measure your opening before purchasing to ensure a proper fit.

The gate's 20-inch wide door can swing both ways, and it stays open when engaged greater than 90 degrees. When opened less than 90 degrees, the door automatically closes, and a stopper prevents it from swinging over stairs when installed at the top.

The door locks securely to keep babies, toddlers, and pets contained, with narrowly spaced bars that prevent them from squeezing through. Adults can easily open the door with one hand by engaging the latch and pulling up on the door.

Please note that this gate will not fit openings measuring 33-33.5", 37-37.5", 41-41.5", 45-45.5", or 49-49.5". The safety gate has been third-party tested and approved, ensuring the highest safety standards.
