Munchkin® Easy Close XL™ Pressure Mounted Baby Gate

The Munchkin Easy Close XL Wide Baby Gate, designed with parents' peace of mind and versatility in mind, is perfectly suited for stairways and wide openings. Crafted from strong steel, this gate ensures ultimate durability and strength. Safe for use throughout the home, this pressure or hardware-mounted baby gate stands 36" tall and fits openings from 29.5" to 51.6" wide. The extra-wide 22" walkthrough allows for easy in and out access. Versatility is further enhanced by the optional third lock at the base of the gate, which allows you to control the direction the gate opens or lock it in both directions to prevent it from opening altogether. This feature provides added safety, particularly at the top of stairs.

Please note that a small gap between the gate frame and the handles is not a defect, but will close once the gate is properly installed. To ensure maximum safety, it is crucial to use all four wall cups when installing the gate, regardless of its location.

Measuring 36" tall and with a width range of 29.5" to 51.6", the gate comes with (1) 2.75", (1) 5.5", and (1) 11" extensions, allowing for a fit up to 54" wide if additional extensions are purchased. It is important to measure the desired opening before purchasing to ensure a proper fit.

The Munchkin Easy Close XL Safety Gate offers a pressure-mounted installation option, with a hardware-mounting option available for added security, particularly at the top of stairs (which requires drilling holes). The door locks easily with a simple push-to-close feature, and the double-locking system makes it easy for adults to use but challenging for children.
